Chef-members and their guests are invited to attend the American Personal & Private Chef Association’s interactive culinary-training Summit at Academia Barilla in Parma, Italy, November 4-9, 2007.

Participants will immerse themselves in the flavors and cooking techniques of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. Educational excursions to wineries, pasta-making facilities, Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano-Reggiano producers, open-air markets and more will complement hands-on training and tastings. English-speaking chefs will instruct on local foodways with the bounty of the season.

Save $250 by reserving now! Luxury hotel accommodations at the Sofitel Parma Grand Hotel de la Ville for five nights, most meals, ground transportation and all educational programming cost only $2,975 per person, double occupancy, with a deposit of $750 by March 30. (After March 30, cost is $3,225 per person.) Single occupancy is available for an additional fee.
