Chef-members and their guests are invited to attend the American Personal & Private Chef Association’s interactive culinary-training Summit at Academia Barilla in Parma, Italy, November 4-9, 2007.
Participants will immerse themselves in the flavors and cooking techniques of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. Educational excursions to wineries, pasta-making facilities, Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano-Reggiano producers, open-air markets and more will complement hands-on training and tastings. English-speaking chefs will instruct on local foodways with the bounty of the season.

Luxury hotel accommodations at the Sofitel Parma Grand Hotel de la Ville for five nights, most meals, ground transportation and all educational programming cost only $2,975 per person, double occupancy, with a deposit of $750 by March 30.
